Charlotte Woodworth is Gender Equality Campaign Director at Prince’s Trust charity Business in the Community, working with some of the countries’ largest employers to create more gender equal workplaces.

Prior to joining BITC she was a Campaigns Director at 38 Degrees, a civil society campaigning organisation with more than 2 million members across the UK. While there she led campaigns on issues as diverse as NHS funding and protection of public green spaces (where she took a 9 year old boy from Brixton to give evidence to an APPG inquiry)

She was Head of Campaigns & Communications at Gingerbread, the single parent charity, during the successful (sector wide) push back on plans to limit access to tax credits / universal credit.

Prior to this she was Head of Communications at the Fawcett Society, the UK’s leading feminist campaigning organisation, leading stakeholder engagement during the landmark bid for judicial review of the Emergency Budget of 2010 – which saw the organisation’s size, profile and membership base swell.

She has appeared in variety of media including R4 Today, Women’s Hour and Sky News.

A politics graduate, she lives in London.
