SSgt Melissa Forrester-Frame QARANC (HCA), Co-Chair Army Multi-Cultural Network and Secretary of the British Grenadian Armed Forces Association.
SSgt Melissa Forrester-Frame was born in St. Andrew’s Grenada, after completing tertiary education she migrated to the United Kingdom in Mar 2005 at the age of 19. She commenced Phase one training at ATR Pirbright on 14 May 2007 followed by her commencing Phase 2 training at Fort Blockhouse, Gosport in Sep 2007. She was then posted to Ministry of Defence Hospital Unit Frimley Park now known as Joint Hospital Group South-East. During her time at Frimley Park SSgt Forrester-Frame was employed in several clinical settings to enhance her KSE and including an operation deployment at Camp Bastion. SSgt Forrester-Frame had the opportunity to work in various setting throughout her career such as 4 Armoured Medical Regiment now known as 2 Medical Regiment, DMRC Headley Court now known as DMRC Standford Hall, and 22 Field Hospital now known as 22 Medical Multi-Role Regiment. During her time at various units, she has managed to gain a vast number of exposures within fields of: Ops SNCO at 2 units, G5 Planning, lead HCA within clinical department and a judging member on the Army Student Nursing Panel for a few months. Currently, SSgt Forrester-Frame is employed at LWC as a Med Log RST. She is an active member in the HCA Cadre and works with the Senior Advisor of the HCA Cadre when need. She is also a committee member of the Army Multi-Cultural Network, British Grenadian Army Forces Association (BGAFA) and the rep of the BGAFA in the AfCab MoD network.
